Gene Keen- Keys & Vocals

Gene has traveled the world sharing his music, on both land and water.  A founding member of The Stellar Unit in Houston, Texas, he moved the band to Las Vegas in 1986, where they quickly became a staple on the Las Vegas Strip.  While touring much of the globe, he filled the role as musical director, performer and entertainer for a wide range of stage productions and corporate events, and has created and arranged performance charts for hundreds of shows and entertainers.  His wizardry on keyboards is extraordinary and diverse, and he is a master at vocal harmonies.

Now residing back in his native Texas, Gene is the leader of several different groups in Houston that provide musical entertainment for most any occasion, while still maintaining the position of musical director and keyboardist for the original Las Vegas show band Common Ground, founded and led by producer and saxophonist Dan Huber.  It is his vision that enabled the creation of Common Ground Houston, allowing Gene to bring the excitement of Las Vegas to the Lone Star State.
